Suspended Ceiling

The benefits of a suspended ceiling, often known as dropped ceilings, are mainly for easy access to the area above the ceiling. And for this reason are used frequently in commercial building projects. These unique ceiling solutions stand apart from traditional higher ceilings, offering not just an enhanced aesthetic appeal by gracefully concealing exposed beams and studs, but also delivering functional benefits such as quick and easy maintenance and repair to not just the ceiling tiles themselves but to the electrical wiring and other utilities above.

Flush Plastered Ceiling

This type of ceiling is a 9mm gypsum board with either steel, timber or galve grid and is skimmed with rhinolite to get that smooth finish that you don’t see any joints between boards. Mostly used in the new homes and in office buildings. The trend in commercial buildings are that most areas are covered with 600×1200 suspended ceiling and key areas such as reception, boardrooms and kitchens are done with Flush Plastered ceilings.

Cornices

Upper Edge extruded polystyrene cornice is a high-density cornice that has a superior smooth finish and comes in a standard white 2m length. These lightweight cornices do not shrink or expand and the material absorbs building movements and will thus not crack with ease. Extruded polystyrene cornice is paintable with PVA (water-based paint).
